You will learn to weave a simple weave structure and then how to make variations to make it more interesting. Weaving is a slow meditative process that needs time to experiment and enjoy. We will make two useful items however, everyone learns and weaves at a different pace. Ideally you’ll walk away with some towelling and scarf. The focus here is about understanding good foundation techniques.
-
Please bring a tape measure, small scissors and a tapestry needle. Also bring yourself a snack if needed.
Yarn and the relevant tools are included in the cost of the course. If you would like to weave additional items while you have access to a loom you’re welcome to however, extra yarn can be purchased separately.
