Group Bookings
I bring the looms, the materials, and the teaching. You gather around and weave something fun. In a calm, focused, tactile state everyone produces something real by the end.
Available for groups of 6 to 20. Tell me your idea, I’ll recommend a format and provide a quote.
Workplace Team Building & Icebreakers
Most corporate team activities split the room, weaving sits in a different headspace.
Every person at a loom is weaving independently. Equal participation is built into the format. Repetitive and rhythmic hand tasks reduce cortisol and set a calm collaborative atmosphere.
Each person leaves with a finished piece of their own making - a coaster, bookmark, key tag, a small wall hanging. Or it could be the collection of everyone’s work sewn together to make a group piece.
Sessions run 1.5 to 3 hours. I arrive with everything pre-warped and ready. Groups of 6 to 20. Suitable for team offsites, away days, end-of-project celebrations, and new group icebreakers. Licensed venues welcome and alcohol-free equally so.
End of year and Christmas Parties
A weaving session works well as an end-of-year activity because it's a real thing to do, not just a backdrop.
It suits all ages and abilities. Everyone makes something small to take home. A bookmark, key tag, a small festive decoration.
For the right group, I also offer The Group Piece where everyone weaves a panel that I join together into a collective keepsake for the office or community space. This is handsewn in the studio and will be available to post or pickup.
Sessions can be held at your venue or I can arrange a space and scale from 6 to 20 people depending on the loom format and session length 1.5 to 3 hour sessions. Let me know your needs and we can work out the best options.
Baby shower, retirement, farewell, significant birthday
Here's something most celebration activities don't offer: an object that is finished by hand, made by everyone who was there.
For baby showers, significant birthdays and farewells, I offer a collective session called The Group Piece. Each guest weaves their own panel during the session. Every panel woven by someone who was there made into one meaningful object. I take the panels back to my studio to join them together and return The Group piece.
If you'd prefer to take something home on the day like a bookmark, coaster, key tag, or small decorations depending on your timeframe. This can be arranged.

“So fun Corrin. Well explained. I loved that I could be adventurous with these party fibres and that we all got to take home our piece of woven work!”
How it works
Tell me about your event, how many people and I’ll come back with a suggested format — what to make, which looms, how long. Pricing depends on group size, travel, session length, and what you'd like to weave.
The one thing worth planning is time. Weaving is a slow, meditative craft. The more time you give the session, the more satisfying the outcome — and the more finished the piece will be to take home.
To give you an idea of what a session looks like in practice — eight staff, a Melbourne CBD office, finger food laid on, and two hours where everyone makes a handwoven coaster to take home - comes to around $240 per person, catering included.
