Weaving classes in Melbourne.

Beginner workshops, multi-week courses and school holiday sessions — running from studios in Northcote, Richmond and Alphington.

Whether you want to learn to weave properly or just have a good evening out, there's something here for you.

The learning pathway starts with a single workshop (one evening, $75, everything provided) and builds from there. Six weeks later you can be weaving independently on your own loom. Most people start with the workshop and surprise themselves.

If you're not after a new hobby and just want a creative session with something to take home, that's what Weave + Leave is for. With classes for adults and teens, you show up, the loom's ready, and you leave with a finished object.

Corrin McNamara has been weaving for over 15 years and is now teaching in Melbourne? Her classes are small (usually four to six people) so there's actual support, not just supervision. Many students arrive nervous. Most leave wanting to buy a loom.
